Depart Little Rock for your flight to Washington, D.C.! Upon arrival in our capital, meet your bus and transfer to the hotel. After getting settled, visit the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, a government agency within the United States Department of the Treasury that designs and produces a variety of security products for the U.S. government, most notable of which is Federal Reserve Notes (paper money) for the Federal Reserve. In addition to paper currency, the BEP produces Treasury securities; military commissions and award certificates; invitations and admission cards; and many different types of identification cards, forms, and other special security documents for a variety of government agencies. TUE, JUN 23 WASHINGTON, D.C. 
After breakfast, get ready for a full day exploration of important landmarks and museums. Visit both the Jefferson (a presidential memorial in Washington, D.C., dedicated to Thomas Jefferson (1743–1826), one of the most important of the American Founding Fathers) and Lincoln Memorials (national monument built to honor the 16th President of the United States, Abraham Lincoln. It is located on the western end of the National Mall in Washington, D.C.) Tour Arlington Nat’l Cemetery, a United States military cemetery in Arlington County, Virginia, across the Potomac River from Washington, D.C., in whose 624 acres the dead of the nation’s conflicts have been buried, beginning with the Civil War, as well as reinterred dead from earlier wars. Visit the Vietnam Memorial: Honoring the men and women who served in the controversial Vietnam War, the Vietnam Veterans Memorial chronologically lists the names of more than 58,000 Americans who gave their lives in service to their country. WED, JUN 24 WASHINGTON, D.C.
Today, visit the White House (subject to availability), the official residence and workplace of the President of the United States. It is located at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW in Washington, D.C. and has been the residence of every U.S. President since John Adams in 1800. Visit Capitol Hill, in addition to being a metonym for the United States Congress, is the largest historic residential neighborhood in Washington, D.C., stretching easterly in front of the United States Capitol along wide avenues. It is one of the oldest residential neighborhoods in Washington, D.C., and with roughly 35,000 people in just under 2 square miles, it is also one of the most densely populated. Visit the U.S. Capitol, often called the Capitol Building, is the home of the United States Congress, and the seat of the legislative branch of the U.S. federal government. It is located on Capitol Hill at the eastern end of the National Mall in Washington, D.C. Though no longer at the geographic center of the Federal District, the Capitol forms the origin point for the District’s street-numbering system and the District’s four quadrants. THU, JUN 25 WASHINGTON, D.C.
Start your day visiting the Library of Congress, the nation’s oldest federal cultural institution, and it serves as the research arm of Congress. It is also the largest library in the world, with more than 162 million items. The collections include books, sound recordings, motion pictures, photographs, maps, and manuscripts
Visit the Holocaust Memorial Museum, the US’ official memorial to the Holocaust. Adjacent to the National Mall in Washington, D.C., the USHMM provides for the documentation, study, and interpretation of Holocaust history.
Visit the International Spy Museum, a private non-profit museum dedicated to the tradecraft, history and contemporary role of espionage, featuring the largest collection of international espionage artifacts currently on public display. Afternoon, visit the Smithsonian Museum of American History that collects, preserves, and displays the heritage of the United States in the areas of social, political, cultural, scientific, and military history. Among the items on display is the original Star-Spangled Banner. B, D

FRI, JUN 26 WASHINGTON, D.C.          
Enjoy an excursion to Mt. Vernon, the plantation house of George Washington, the first President of the United States, and his wife, Martha Dandridge Custis Washington. The estate is situated on the banks of the Potomac River. In the afternoon, visit the National Museum of African American History, a Smithsonian Institution established in December 2003. It has close to 37,000 objects in its collection related to such subjects as community, family, the visual and performing arts, religion, civil rights, slavery, and segregation. B, D
