Sat, Sept 22 Athens
Explore this energetic city on a guided Athens City Tour. Visit the Parthenon on the Acropolis, see the Royal Palace, the National Gardens, the Temple of Athena Nike, the remains of Socrates’ Agora, the Olympic Stadium and other highlights. Outside of Athens, spend some time on a tour of a local winery. Enjoy a roof top dinner with spectacular view of the Acropolis. B, D

Sun, Sept 23 Athens

This afternoon arrive in Mykonos, a delightful island renowned for its lovely countryside and its beaches, its iconic windmills and sea breezes. You might decide to visit the Alefkhandra neighborhood (Little Venice) or Ano Mera, a traditional Cycladic Village. Perhaps you will get a welcome from Petros the Pelican. Tue, Sept 25 Kusadasi/Ephesus-Patmos-Rhodes
Early morning arrival in Kusadasi. Your excursion to Kusadasi begins with a visit to Ancient Ephesus, founded by the Ancient Greeks and one of the most complete classical cities in Europe. See the Terrace Houses, homes of the wealthy families, the Great Theater and the House of the Virgin Mary where the Virgin spent her final years. Sail to Patmos. Visit St. John the Evangelist’s Monastery and see the Grotto of the Apocalypse, where many believe  St. John heard the voice of God, the sculpted mountaintop village of Chora. Depart for Rhodes.
